After a successful action against NOAA Discoverer is the team's role in the investigation currently under review.

research project aboard the NOAA Discoverer was of a curious nature. It was about to let a mask (for lack of better description) possess a host animal and then subjecting the host animal for various conditions. Host animal mutated then very quickly to adapt to the environment.

Meets Spin Ochi and Francis at the FBI building in DC.
According to them talking William Smith about some strange things. He claims that they are about to rebuild an engine from a crashed spaceship.
Spin Ochi gives us the circuit board that seemed missing from the design and drawings.

It all started in 2001 or 2002 during an archaeological project in South America which was to analyze satellite images to find interesting places (settlements or similar). In the pictures, they found an airplane that crashed on 60 or 70's. They went there and found a bag belonging to one of the passengers. This bag contained the drawings that the team used to build his engine.

Smith claims he took the drawings because he thought they were related to the Indians in a way.

There was a study on the plane's origin, but this was Smith not involved in.

Smith tried find out who had taken the drawings. It turns out that the plane was owned by the Catholic Church, who also received the bodies. The people on the plane were Italians and Germans. Smith kept the bag despite the priest's requests if they found something else on the plane.

Gerra claims he did not know that the boards had been concealed in the house but was convinced that everything would be lowered into the lake.
