Two Center Party Carpathian MPs Annika Qarlsson and Ulrika Carlsson has made a motion to abolish the winter time. Very good! It is mind-boggling stupidity that every fall when it gets dark we have to reset the clock and life for darkness to fall even earlier .
If you get really picky with regard to terminology, so it should not be called the "summer time shall apply throughout the year" for the winter time is actually the "real" (= normal) period of time zone. The correct description is that we should change the time zone to Eastern European Time (EET, GMT +2) while eliminating summer time. But description "to abolish the winter time" is certainly much easier to understand for most people.
